Two die in road accident in Arkalgud taluk

Two persons died after their car hit a road divider near Basavapatna in Arkalgud taluk on Saturday.

They have been identified as Darshan, 25, of Konanur and Ranganath Prasad, 22, of Kabbaligare.

It is said that the accident occurred when they were on the way to Mysuru to watch a movie.

Ranganath, who was behind the wheel, lost control and hit the road divider.

The Konanur Police have registered a case.
