Two farmers die of electrocution in Karnatatka’s Hassan district

Shivamogga:

Two farmers died after they came in contact with live electric wire at their farm at Shettikoplu village in Arasikere taluk on Tuesday (June 18, 2025).

The police have identified the deceased as Balegowda, 73, of Shettikoppa and Hombe Gowda, 55, a native of Kudakundi village. They were neighbours. They came in contact with the live wire accidentally while tying a rope to dry clothes.

Gandasi Police have registered the case.
