Two held in Chittoor burglary case, property worth ₹15.25 lakh recovered

Chittoor taluk police on Friday cracked a house burglary case reported from the Murakambattu locality within municipal corporation limits, arresting two accused and recovering stolen property worth about ₹15.25 lakh.

Deputy SP (Chittoor) J. Venkatanarayana told the media that the burglary took place on April 24 at the residence of C. Balaji (32). The accused broke open the main door, ransacked a bedroom almirah and fled with gold ornaments, silver articles and cash.
