Two labourers killed as building collapses in Vizianagaram district

Two labourers were killed and a few other workers were injured after a building, which they were demolishing, collapsed on them at Ramavaram village of Vizianagaram district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Yerra Chennayya and Kolusu Pydithalli. The injured were shifted to a private hospital in Vizianagaram, located five km away from the village.

According to sub-inspector of Gantyada Sai Krishna, the building, which was in a dilapidated condition, caved in and the debris fell on the workers who were demolishing it, leading to the instant death of two and injuries to a few others.
