Two people found dead in Sakleshpur

A man, who went missing, was found dead at Kumarahalli in Sakleshpur taluk on Saturday. Meanwhile, the villagers, who went looking for the missing person, also found another person dead.

The deceased have been identified as Nanjaiah, 53, of Tiganahalli and Murugesh, 60, a native of neighbouring Chikkamagaluru district. Nanjaiah went missing on May 26. Since he had not returned home, his family members and villagers went looking for him on Saturday. His was found dead in a tank, and it is suspected that Nanjaiah accidentally fell into the waterbody during heavy rains.

Meanwhile, they also found Murugesh dead in a coffee estate. The reason for his death is not known. The local people stated that both Nanjaiah and Murugesh died due to heavy rains.

The deaths have been reported in the limits of Sakleshpur Rural police station.
