U.S. software firm Blackbaud on Thursday announced opening of its new Hyderabad office.

The office will serve as a strategic global location, expanding Blackbaud’s capacity to deliver intelligent, scalable and purpose-driven software across fund-raising, financial management, digital giving, grant-making, corporate social responsibility and education management solutions, the Nasdaq-listed firm said in a release on Thursday.

Stating that it has been a year since it established operations in India, Blackbaud said the team at the Hyderabad office will focus on enhancing the firm’s existing platforms through AI integration, cloud-native development and data modernisation. “Over the past year, we have built a diverse, high-performing workforce supporting product, design, engineering and operations, and we are continuing to hire professionals. We want to attract talent that thrives on solving problems that matter, Blackbaud India V-P and MD Rajiv Gajria said.

“The Hyderabad presence strengthens our position as a global leader and helps us lead the social impact market into the age of AI...” Blackbaud executive V-P and COO Kevin Gregoire said.
