Unity March in Vizag on November 12, 17

To mark the 150th Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Unity Marches will be held in Visakhapatnam on November 12 at the Visakhapatnam Beachfront and again on November 17 at Gajuwaka. Addressing the media BJP district president Parasu Rama Raju and TDP MP M. Sribharat on Monday urged service organisations, public representatives, and officials to participate in large numbers and make the event a grand success. Mr Sribharat said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was a great freedom fighter and the true architect of India’s unity. Unfortunately, he was not given due recognition during Congress rule. It was only after the BJP came to power that the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Patel— the Statue of Unity— was built in Gujarat.”
