UP Board practical exam 2026 dates: The Office of the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj has released the schedule for the UP Board 2026 intermediate practical examinations.

The examinations will be conducted in two phases across various districts under specified divisions.

The announcement has been made to ensure all students, schools, and examiners are informed in advance.The first phase of the practical examinations will be held from January 24, 2026, to February 01, 2026, excluding January 29 and 30, which coincide with the UP TET written examination. On these two days, schools are instructed not to conduct any other examinations and to declare academic holidays.

The second phase will be conducted from February 02, 2026, to February 09, 2026, for the remaining districts under the respective divisions.District-wise schedule for UP Board 2026 practical examinationsThe first group of districts includes Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti. The second group covers Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.

Schools in these districts are required to follow the schedule strictly to ensure smooth examination processes.Examination guidelines and internal assessment proceduresPrincipals are responsible for conducting the practical examinations under CCTV surveillance to maintain examination integrity. The recordings will be preserved and made available upon request when necessary. High school practical examinations will be conducted at the school level, based on internal assessment and project work.

Individual candidates must coordinate with the principal of their forwarding centre to ensure they can appear for the examinations.Uploading of marks for practicals, yoga, sports, and moral educationMarks obtained in high school practical examinations, along with Moral, Yoga, Sports, and Physical Education, will be uploaded online by school principals. Similarly, marks for Intermediate Moral, Yoga, Sports, and Physical Education will also be uploaded through the Council’s official website, upmsp.edu.in.

The online portal will become operational from January 10, 2026, allowing schools to enter the marks efficiently.Pre-Board practical examinations for Class XIIPre-Board practical examinations for Class XII students are scheduled to be conducted at the school level during the first week of January 2026. These examinations will be conducted by school principals, who will oversee all procedures and maintain proper documentation.
