Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday praised India’s rising global standing under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and said BrahMos missiles made in the state had taught Pakistan a "befitting lesson" during Operation Sindoor.

Speaking at a public event, Adityanath also announced that Uttar Pradesh’s first pharma park would be set up in Lalitpur. He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for 221 development projects worth Rs 1,766 crore.

Referring to the BrahMos missiles, the chief minister said they were being manufactured in Uttar Pradesh and had shown their strength during Operation Sindoor. "The BrahMos missiles are being made in Uttar Pradesh. When these missiles were used during Operation Sindoor, they gave such a crushing blow to Pakistan that it was forced to cry for help and beg to save itself. This is the strength of new India, and it is powered by Prime Minister Modi’s leadership," Adityanath said.

He also spoke about the recent US-Iran conflict and its impact on fuel supplies. "During the US-Iran conflict, fuel supplies across the world were disrupted. Under Modi ji’s leadership, steps were taken to ensure that the country did not face an energy crisis. Relief was provided to the people and inflation was also kept under control," he said.

Adityanath said all preparations had been made for the state’s first pharma park in Lalitpur. "All preparations have been made for the state’s first pharma park," he said. He added that Uttar Pradesh, particularly the Bundelkhand region, had seen significant development under Modi’s leadership. The event in Lalitpur also marked the inauguration and foundation-laying of 221 projects worth Rs 1,766 crore.
