UP Man Finds Wife At Lover's House, Bites Off Her Nose During Argument

In Uttar Pradesh, a man bit off his wife's nose after finding her with her lover. The woman (25) was hospitalized. Khilawan has been detained, and an investigation is ongoing.

In a bizarre incident in Uttar Pradesh, a man bit off his wife’s nose after he allegedly caught her with her paramour, police said.

The impact of the nose-biting incident was such that the 25-year-old woman sustained severe injuries and was bleeding to the extent that she had to be taken to a hospital. Meanwhile, the accused husband, identified as Ram Khilawan, has been detained.

The incident is said to have taken place in a village in Hardoi district.

The shocking incident took place when the woman went to meet her lover who is also a resident of the same village. According to news agency PTI, Khilawan followed his spouse to the man’s house.

Thereafter, a heated argument broke out between the couple, prompting Khilwan to bit off his wife’s nose in front of her lover, PTI citing police reported.

As the woman started screaming, locals and family members rushed to her rescue, only to find her bleeding profusely. Soon after police were informed about the matter.

After Hariyawan police arrived at the scene, they took the injured woman to Hardoi Medical College. Her condition was such that doctors referred her to a medical facility in Lucknow for advanced treatment.

According to additional SP Narendra Kumar, the accused husband is being interrogated.

An investigation into the case is underway. Police are probing all possible angles. “Legal action is underway, and the case is being investigated from all angles," PTI quoted the ASP as saying.
