At an NDTV event, Vicky Kaushal shared, "Desh Prem kabhi formula nahi ho sakta. I think desh prem ko formula kehna desh prem ki insult hai (Patriotism can never be a formula. I think calling patriotism a formula is an insult to patriotism)."The actor added, "Desh prem humaari sachchaiye hai aur woh sacchai hum entertainment, filmon, literature ke zariye hum humesha dikhate rahenge (Patriotism is our truth, and we will always continue to express that truth through entertainment, films, and literature)."Vicky went on to add, "World map par hum kisi bhi zariye se ye dikha sake, and we can put a foot in the door and say we are proud of the diversity of our country, our legacy, and the truth of the country (On the world map, if we can show this through any medium and put a foot in the door, we can say that we are proud of the diversity of our country, our legacy, and the truth of the nation)."
