The fear of leopards hit the urban pockets of Maharashtra, as a leopard was seen in the densely populated residential area of East Bahyandar in Thane district. On Friday morning, the leopard suddenly came into the locality and, as per information, has injured three people so far by jumping into a building.

The presence of the leopard has caused a major panic among the residents. However, they have been able to confine it in a local building named Parijat, where the leopard accidentally entered. The residents called the fire brigade, which rushed to the spot and recovered a girl from the building who was injured by the leopard.
