Delhi vs Andhra, Mumbai vs Sikkim Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 Today Match Live Cricket Score Updates: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are among countless notable Indian stars who will take part in the opening matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Apart from Kohli and Rohit, Rishabh Pant, Harshit Rana, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Abhishek Sharma and Shivam Dube are some of the big names who are likely to participate in the domestic ODI tournament.
But one problem that comes with it is that fans likely won’t be able to watch these stars in action as no channel or livestreaming service will broadcasting most of these matches with only Puducherry vs Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad vs UP the only exceptions. To make matters worse for Kohli fans in Bengaluru, they will not get to watch the India star in action live as Delhi’s fixtures have been moved to the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence. This was because permission was denied to hold the match at Chinnaswamy Stadium on December 24, a day after a government appointed committee inspected the facility in light of the June 4 stampede that killed 11 persons during the RCB’s IPL victory celebrations.

Rohit fans in Jaipur, however, will be able to watch the star live as Mumbai takes on Sikkim at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Preparation for a crowd of around 2,000-3,000 strong fans has been made at the venue with security beefed up. Entry for the match is free so there iks expected to be a massive turnout.

Virat Kohli to play behind closed doors at BCCI’s Centre of Excellence as Chinnaswamy remains out of bounds for fans
Fans in Bengaluru will not get to watch Virat Kohli featuring in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as Delhi’s fixtures have been moved to the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CeO) where the match against Andhra will be played behind closed doors for the public.
It is understood that with the stadium yet to meet all the safety recommendations suggested by the Justice Cunha commission, the review committee felt the venue isn’t ready to host matches as yet. Less than 24-hours before Delhi were scheduled to play Andhra in the first round of Vijay Hazare Trophy at Chinnaswamy stadium, based on a report of the review committee — appointed by the Karnataka government — the city police denied permission for the international venue to host the match on Wednesday.
