The Bernabéu almost went from hosting the El Clásico to a wrestling match within minutes as the highly anticipated derby in the Spanish capital between Barcelona and Real Madrid disintegrated into a brawl after full-time. The target, invariably, was the teenage superstar, Lamine Yamal.
Yamal had angered thousands of Real fans and, clearly, the players too, with his pre-match remarks about the Los Blancos. During a Twitch broadcast on the Kings League, he was asked by Ibai Llanaos, a well-known Madrid fan and the owner of Porcinos FC, whether the team reminded him of Real. And Yamal, tongue-in-cheek, said, ‘Yes, of course, they steal, they complain’, without explaining further.
Only minutes after Madrid’s 2-1 win was sealed, full-back Dani Carvajal was seen arguing with Yamal near the center circle, with Marcus Rashford and Eduardo Camavinga holding the duo back. As Yamal said a few words back-stepping towards the pavilion, Real goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois rushed and shoved him.
More members of the two teams got involved, only separated by security personnel in black. Yamal was walking back and close to the dugout when Vinícius Júnior, substituted well before the final whistle, angrily charged towards him and had to be dragged away, too. Watch the incident here:

Xabi Alonso seemed indifferent about the incident after the match, saying, “I think it reflected the intensity and the importance of the game. I think it’s healthy competition."
It was Alonso’s first Clásico win, ending Barcelona’s four-match streak in the rivalry.
Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring after a fine assist from Jude Bellingham. Fermin Lopez equalized for Barcelona before the England midfielder’s decisive strike restored Madrid’s lead just before halftime and became the eventual winner. Mbappe later missed a penalty that could have sealed the result earlier, while Barca’s Pedri was sent off late on as tempers flared.
Barcelona, missing key players like Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Dani Olmo, struggled to create clear chances despite dominating possession. Madrid’s defensive solidity and Bellingham’s influence proved the difference as the hosts comfortably saw out the win despite late Barcelona pressure and rising tensions in stoppage time.
