A violent scuffle erupted between Crystal security staff and cab drivers over parking at Mumbai Airport. CISF intervened, and police are investigating.

A violent scuffle broke out between Crystal security staff and cab drivers over a parking dispute at Mumbai International Airport.

The brawl started as a heated argument over a parking issue between private drivers and Crystal security staff, and soon spiralled into a violent altercation between the security staff and drivers. The scuffle led to a chaotic situation at the airport.

CISF personnel present at the spot immediately intervened in the brawl and tried to defuse the tension. The police are currently investigating the incident.

The incident took place near a designated parking area and quickly turned from a verbal argument to a full-blown physical scuffle.

The video of the scuffle went viral on social media. In the video, individuals were seen exchanging blows in a scene which appeared to be nothing less than a wrestling match.

The quarrel disrupted normal operations at the airport briefly. The attention of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel present at the airport was drawn to the scuffle, they then tried to intervene.

CISF officials tried to restore order and break up the fight. As per media reports, the argument started over parking space allocation and soon turned violent when both parties were not ready to back down.

A case has been registered by the Sahar Police against both parties involved. They have identified the driver and the security guard as the primary instigators of the fight. The two have also been arrested, as per local media reports.

Police officials have said that they are carrying out further investigations to understand the complete sequence of events and decide who is responsible for the escalation.

The viral video is also being reviewed by the authorities, and they are speaking to witnesses to collect more evidence. No official statement has been issued by the airport officials, but it is expected that they will make parking enforcement protocols stricter to prevent such incidents in the future.
