Students of Gogetters’ Academy, Madhurawada and Visakhapatnam, showcased their talent at the 24th Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) Abacus National Level Competition held recently at the Balayogi Stadium in Hyderabad.
Seven-year-old D. Jyoshith Reyansh emerged as the champion in the foundation category, while eight-year-old G. Nihasvi secured the second runner-up position in the same category. Adding to the academy’s success, seven-year-old P. Leisha and eight-year-old K. Syam Sampreeth were honoured with merit awards for their remarkable performance. In Category A, K. Syam Saathvik also received a merit award.
Franchise director Suman Pallavi, in a statement on Tuesday, congratulated the young achievers and lauded the dedication of students, parents, and trainers. She emphasised that the results underline the significance of abacus training in sharpening mental arithmetic skills and boosting confidence among young learners.
