While director Ravi Arasu originally helmed Vishal's upcoming film Magudam, the actor recently announced that he was taking over the direction citing creative differencesRecently, rumours surfaced on social media claiming that the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association and the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) have halted the film’s shoot temporarily stating that Vishal had not obtained a no-objection certificate (NOC) from Arasu.Clarifying this speculation, FEFSI president RK Selvamani informed us that the issue has been resolved. “There was a misunderstanding between director Ravi Arasu and Vishal. We have spoken to both and helped them reach a mutual understanding. The director himself has agreed to step away from the project,” he shared.He further confirmed that Vishal will continue directing Magudam as planned. “The issue has been amicably resolved, and the shoot of the film is currently taking place at a studio in Paiyanur,” Selvamani added.
