Watch: Car skids off road, plunges downhill in Sonmarg; driver has narrow escape

A video from Kashmir’s famous tourist attraction Sonamarg has gone viral showing a car skidding off a slippery stretch of road, leaving three people injured.

The incident occurred as the driver lost control of the car on the icy surface. Surprisingly, as the car plunged downhill to a road and was back to a parking position, the driver of the car stepped out suggesting a miraculous escape for him.

As soon as the incident happened, locals and authorities rushed to assist those affected.

Two of the injured were referred to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, for advanced treatment, while one sustained minor injuries.
