Although air quality showed a slight improvement on Monday, it continued to remain in the “very poor” category. Data from the Sameer app indicated that the city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was 365 at 5.05 am.

Four monitoring stations recorded “severe” air quality, with AQI levels crossing 400. Aya Nagar was the only area to report “poor” air quality, registering an AQI of 299, while most other parts of the capital remained in the “very poor” range. Meanwhile, flight operations at Delhi airport are continuing without disruption.
