Kevin Durant is a phenomenal player of the Houston Rockets and a very dominant force in the current NBA. Apart from basketball, he engages in a variety of interests that keep him grounded and focused.

Three major interests of Kevin Durant include swimming, hip-hop music production, and photography.

He is an avid photographer who usually carries a camera with him and has shot events like Super Bowl 50. Making music in his own recording studio and collaborating with other musicians is another of his interests. Another one of the things that he enjoys doing to keep in shape is swimming.

Kevin Durant’s surprising hobbies reveal a creative side only few fans knew

According to The Players' Tribune, Kevin Durant demonstrated his interests by taking pictures at Super Bowl 50 as a certified photographer.

However, the 37-year-old is passionate about basketball and does not view it as a career. His main hobby is photography. He has been a writer and photographer for The Players' Tribune in recent years as well. In a 2016 piece for The Players' Tribune, Durant disclosed that a friend had given him "one of those big digital cameras with a nice lens" for his 27th birthday in 2015. Although Durant had previously received cameras as gifts, this was the first time the former league MVP showed a genuine interest in photography. He further said:"I started taking it almost everywhere I went.”

Due to his intense passion for cameras, Durant worked as a photographer for The Players' Tribune on the sidelines of Super Bowl 50. It was amusing that Durant was employed by the press, and he was aware of this. Stating the same, he further wrote: "... Before you say it, I can see the irony of 'Kevin Durant is a member of the media for a day’. But I had the time of my life taking sideline photos for the night." The NBA legend further mentioned that he had "a lot of interests outside of basketball," including being a professional photographer at the biggest football game of the year.Russell Westbrook, Durant's old teammate, seemed to make fun of Durant's off court interest later that year when he showed up to a game wearing a bright orange vest that read "Professional Photographer." However, Westbrook disputed that it was a jab at Durant and only described the vest as a "great fashion idea.” On the other hand, Durant dabbled in a different creative form in addition to photography. He also likes swimming because it's a full-body workout that builds muscles and increases cardiovascular endurance without overtaxing joints.

Kevin Durant’s playful moment at a concert sparks whispers beyond the basketball court

Recently, Kevin Durant made headlines when he and former WNBA legend Liz Cambage were seen attending Drake's concert in the United States. The image sparked relationship speculation when it became popular on Instagram. The talented NBA player avoided media attention after being spotted at the event. Later, Durant posted on Instagram a picture that Cambage had taken with the Houston Rockets player.

The Australian basketball player captioned the picture with the following. "Shooters only @easymoneysniper.”However, Cambage later denied the rumors and said that:“You think I’m gonna hard launch a relationship shooting a jump shot at a Drake concert?!” Cambage said to TMZ Sports. “That’s what I get for trying to be funny and recreating a meme. That’s what I get. Just hoops, baby. Married to the game!”She further said jokingly that Durant is reportedly married to the game. Also read: Are Kevin Durant and Liz Cambage dating?
