Man dead for 105 minutes makes a startling revelation about the afterlife

Afterlife is a concept, an idea that has shaped faith, fear, and curiosity for centuries. No one actually knows what it looks like or even if exists at all. However, a man who was declared clinically dead for 105 minutes, came back to life and has surprised people with what he saw and experienced in the unknown.Dean Braxton, 68, recalled a moment in his otherwise ordinary life which had an intense affect on his life. He told the Daily Mail how a simple procedure to remove kidney stones in 2006 went horribly wrong. The surgery somehow cause a massive infection which stopped his heart. While the doctors, tired to resuscitate the Christian minister from Washington state, they ultimately gave up. The hospital had started filling out the paperwork before sending his body to the morgue, when he miraculously woke up.His sudden resuscitation shocked the doctors and people. They even dubbed him the 'Miracle Man' after doctors found no brain damage. This was more than shocking as his body was deprived of all oxygen for almost an hour and 45 minutes. But what Braxton narrated after shocked people more. Braxton explains that instead of feeling scared he felt quite peaceful during his near-death experience (NDE). He said that he believes that he was taken to another realm one which he calls 'heaven' and where he met his dead relatives, angels, Jesus and God.

Braxton remembers that Jesus told him that this was not his end time. 'It's not your time, go back." And then he was sent back to Earth. This moment, Braxton says, rewrote his life anew. He knew in that moment that it is his mission now to help others encounter God themselves. What he encountered in the realm? The minister told the Daily Mail, that every element of that place made him feel welcomed- even the trees and the animals.

'I felt like everything was alive, nothing was dead - and I don't mean just alive in a sense of like grass that I have in my front yard. I mean, they were alive where they were intelligent,' Braxton said. 'It seemed like everything had an attitude - a good attitude, not a bad one - and they were glad I showed up.'Further, Braxton also came across his dead relatives including his grandmother, Mary. However, he claims that that he also met his ancestors he had never met in his life before.

This episode instilled in him the idea that God value family.'I didn't know that until I got there, how important it was. So that really changed my outlook upon my own family,' Braxton said. He further said that he became a new person, and his wife had to adjust to this newness after his NDE.He even talked to his dead relatives there. However, most of the communication was through direct thoughts. He explained that ideas were shared as instant images rather than sentences.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Braxton said that if someone wanted to talk about a table, they would place a complete picture of the table straight into his mind.According to him, this made communication clearer and faster. The full meaning was understood immediately, with no confusion or long explanations, and even short interactions felt personal and meaningful.Braxton also said he eventually reached what he described as “the edge of heaven.”

He said it was impossible to explain physically but felt like a point beyond which he would no longer be connected to life on Earth. It was at this point that he came across Jesus who told him 'It's not your time. Go back.' However, overwhelmed by it all Braxton did not wanna leave, but remembers that Jesus asked him thrice to leave and go back to Earth.Braxton also recounts watching his lifeless body, surrounded by the nurses.

It is then that he comes back on Earth. 'I just remember that my heart started beating again, and the doctors ran over, and they started doing all their stuff,' Braxton told the Daily Mail. 'They didn't expect me to live even after I came back.'Braxton says that his entire outlook on life has changed. 'I came back a different person, and my wife had to adjust because she had a whole different husband,' he said.Noe instead of focusing on practicality of an action, he is guided by the question of 'How does this impact eternity?' He says that since everything materialistic will eventually end, he invests his time in things that will last forever- especially relationships with people and helping them connect with God. 'I want people to meet Jesus really badly because of my encounter with him,' Braxton said. 'Sometimes I'll go to a place, and people come, and I say, 'It's not about me, it's about your encounter with God. You're here, he's here, that's all that matters.''My words don't get you in, Jesus does.'
