Woman found murdered in Kukatpally apartment

A 50-year-old woman was found murdered at her residence in Kukatpally, Hyderabad on Wednesday (September 10, 2025).

The deceased, identified as Renu Agarwal, was allegedly tied up and stabbed by domestic helpers from Jharkhand, who are suspected to have fled with cash and jewellery from the house. A purported video of the attack and it aftermath is viral on social media.

Police said she was alone in her flat at Swan Lake Apartments at the time of the incident. On receiving information, the Kukatpally police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation. A case was booked and efforts are underway to trace the assailants.
