Woman kills drunk husband

A woman on Tuesday night stabbed her husband, who was allegedly harassing and beating her up everyday coming home drunk. 

The deceased has been identified as Murugesh, 50, a resident of Hongasandra, off Begur Road. On Tuesday night, Murugesh came home drunk and reportedly picked up a quarrel with his wife and started beating her. In a fit of rage, his wife allegedly picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed him repeatedly. As he collapsed in a pool of blood, he was rushed to a nearby private hospital, but he died en route.

The Bommanahalli Police have registered a case of murder and arrested the woman.
