ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 Standings: Australian skipper Alyssa Healy blitzed with a ton on Thursday against Bangladesh to help the side thrash the latter by 10 wickets. Healy managed to score 77-ball 113 runs and was supported quite nicely by Phoebe Litchfield, who scored 84. With the win, Australia has qualified for the semifinal of the tournament with their win at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Healy and Litchfield crossed the finish line in just 24.5 overs, extending Australia’s unbeaten World Cup streak to 13 consecutive games.
Healy’s second consecutive hundred after 142 against India at the same venue on Sunday, included 20 boundaries and was the fastest ton of this tournament.

Litchfield struck 12 fours and a six. Bangladesh opted to bat and and wrist spinner Alana King took 2-18 in 10 overs and was named the player of the match. “There has been a bit of spin here, and length is key,” King said. “We were punished against India a little bit, so we wanted to bowl to our strengths. Really happy to keep them to a reasonable score today and play my part.”

“I think so, they played nicely (on Bangladesh). We did try our best, but the execution wasn’t great, happy though to have got the two points. It’s so hard, honestly. I was disappointed with my glove work today, but I made up for it a bit with the bat. I really enjoy the challenge, though. We’ve been here for a while, we’ll go to a new venue, we haven’t been to Indore before, and a new challenge is coming up against England,” said skipper Healy after the win.”
