The Rock's trademark ownership
The documents revealed that TKO and The Rock are contracted via a 'DJ services agreement.' As per that, The Rock agreed to provide promotional services and appearances to WWE. In regard to that, TKO granted full ownership of 'The Rock' trademark and its relevant intellectual assets to Dwayne Johnson. “On January 22, 2024, WWE and Mr. Johnson entered into the DJ Services Agreement, pursuant to which Mr. Johnson agreed to provide to WWE certain promotional and other services. WWE assigned to Mr. Johnson (via one of his affiliates) ‘The Rock’ trademark and certain related trademarks, service marks, ring names, taglines and other intellectual property assets.”
The Rock's equity deal with TKO
The Rock has licensed his IP to WWE for a period of 10 years. In doing so, his equity compensation value came around $17.7 million in 2024 and grew significantly to $4 million in 2025, and he was also paid almost a million in royalties and reimbursed expenses that totaled to $0.6 million and $2.6 million for those years.
“The Company paid $0.9 million of royalties that were earned by Mr. Johnson during each of the years ended December 31, 2025 and 2024. Such reimbursable expenses totaled $0.6 million and $2.6 million for the years ended December 31, 2025 and 2024, respectively.”
What is The Rock's total TKO stock value?
The Rock acquired 96,557 shares of TKO stock valued at $17.75 million according to the latest SEC filing. This brought his total ownership to 289,673 shares with an estimated valuation of $41.25 million.
The Rock's last WWE appearance
The Rock last appeared at the 2025 Elimination Chamber PLE as part of his WWE appearance. The night saw him corrupt John Cena to turn heel and attack Cody Rhodes, who refused his offer to sell his soul to him.
