WWE SummerSlam 2025 (August 02, 2025) Results: Naomi beats Rhea Ripley & IYO Sky in captivating triple threat match

The second night of WWE SummerSlam 2025 opened with the explosive triple-threat title match. The WWE Women's World Champion Naomi defended her title against Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky. The match came after Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract at WWE Evolution PLE to slither away with the title.

A highly captivating bout at SummerSlam saw Naomi walk out of MetLife Stadium with her championship.

Naomi, Rhea Ripley, and IYO Sky delivered an explosive match to start Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam

The field was set for a huge collision as all three competitors entered the squared circle with the top prize of RAW's women's division on the line. The match began with a temporary alliance of Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky to take out Naomi, however, the match quickly turned into every woman for herself. Following a slow start, Naomi began to gain the upperhand as she delivered chops on IYO and Ripley.The WWE Women's World Champion established her dominance and had a remarkable presence in the first minutes of the match. However, Rhea Ripley finally managed to diffuse her momentum and IYO Sky joined the fray to again show a temporary alliance. With Naomi out of the equation, Ripley and IYO engaged in a combat, which was captivating to see much like their Evolution bout.Naomi returned to the ring and all three women began to capitvate the audience with their performances. From multiple pinfall attempts to power-packed and high-flying moves delivered, the fans showered loud cheers for them throughout the remainder of the title showdown. As the match came down to its final moments, Ripley delivered a Riptide from the top rope to IYO Sky and almost had her beaten. That is until Naomi ran in and rolled Ripley to score the three count and retain her title.

With Naomi still the WWE Women's World Champion, her next opponent will be Stephanie Vaquer, who she will face at WWE's next PLE, Clash in Paris.
