Armaan and Abhira's tense reunion sees him threaten her, while she vows to resist. Back home, the family plans a Valentine's Day celebration, defying Armaan's disapproval. Kaveri confronts Armaan about his anger and his chosen solitary path, leading him to feel suffocated by his home and his mother's questions.
The latest episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ starts off with Armaan and Abhira’s interaction. Armaan promises that he will destroy everything that Abhira loves, including her life, her garage, and her colony.
Abhira gets shocked over his words, wondering how he still hates her so much after all of these years.
Abhira wonders about all that has happened
Abhira starts wondering about all that has happened in their lives. She wonders how Armaan has already managed to destroy her, as he has taken away their daughter from her. She then wonders about Mukti, and then gets worried that she will also get involved again in all of the drama if Armaan does something to her. Abhira then challenges Armaan and tells him that she will not let him destroy her or hurt her in any way ever again.
She tells him to bring his best efforts, as she will remain headstrong no matter what.
Family decides to celebrate Valentine’s Day
Back at home, Tanya, Kajal, and Manisha all decide that they should finally celebrate Valentine’s Day after all of these years. Manoj also joins in and gives a gift to Kaveri; however, she refuses and tells him that materialistic things such as this no longer make her happy. Vidya questions everyone and mentions that they should stop, as Armaan does not like the idea of Valentine’s Day.
She is, however, stopped by Madhav as Tanya announces that they will all go out to celebrate since Armaan does not like celebrating Valentine’s Day. Vidya, however, continues to call everyone out and mentions that there is no need to celebrate the occasion. She also asks why Kaveri is silent in the matter.
Kaveri says that it was Armaan who chose the path of loneliness, while Tanya comments that they are all adults and cannot always cater to Armaan’s wants and needs.
Kaveri stops Armaan
When he comes back, Armaan gets angry after seeing all of the Valentine’s Day decor. He loses his control; however, Kaveri comes in and tells him that he cannot control everyone’s happiness because he chose this life for himself. Vidya questions him about where he has been. Although Manoj and Kaveri try and stop her, Vidya simply continues to question her son about his whereabouts and why he was out of the house for so long.
Armaan loses control again, and leaves, though he comments that Vidya’s continues pestering feels suffocating, and his home is also starting to feel suffocating.
