Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy urged young voters in Kerala to view the 2026 assembly elections as pivotal for the country’s future as they would pave way for the country’s political map in 2029 and expected to shape India’s destiny.
Participating in the MP Merit Awards - 2025 in Alappuzha, Kerala, the Chief Minister said that the BJP was snatching away the rights of the youth and the Congress was fighting to safeguard the constitutional rights.
Acknowledging the power of young people, Mr. Revanth Reddy asserted that Congress’s strength lies in youth mobilisation, not financial or media backing. He called on the nation’s youth to secure their rights and shape India’s future, aspiring for Rahul Gandhi to be elected Prime Minister in 2029.
Acknowledging Kerala’s 100% per cent literacy rate and their progressive approach, Mr. Reddy reminded that, during the last Lok Sabha elections, he had invited Mr. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to contest from Telangana. They chose to fight elections from Kerala and considered the State as their ‘Karmabhumi’.
Congratulating AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal for taking up merit scholarships to the talented students, CM Revanth Reddy said the Telangana government has filled 11,055 teaching posts in just 55 days to strengthen the education sector and build Young India Residential Schools in 100 Assembly constituencies. Each school is being constructed on a sprawling 5 acres at a cost of ₹200 crore.
