Madhubani: The Madhubani district administration has transferred more than 1,700 employees through a fully digital online randomisation system, a move aimed at strengthening transparency and good governance. The district administration said on Tuesday that the transfer and posting exercise was completed entirely through an online randomisation process for the first time. The exercise covered IT assistants, executive assistants, lekhpals, housing supervisors, data entry operators and staff from several departments, including health, agriculture, cooperation, animal husbandry, panchayat, supply and ICDS.Under the supervision of DM Anand Sharma, the transfers were carried out through the National Informatics Centre’s (NIC) e-Application platform. The administration claimed this was Bihar’s first large-scale employee transfer exercise conducted entirely through a digital randomisation system, eliminating human intervention and ensuring transparency and impartiality. The process was also live-streamed on the official Facebook page of the Madhubani district administration, allowing employees and residents to watch it in real time.
“Digital systems make administrative processes more transparent, impartial, accountable, and effective while eliminating the possibility of human interference,” Anand said.He added, “The objective of the district administration is to make every administrative process technology-driven, transparent, and reliable. Through online randomization, equal and fair treatment has been ensured for all employees. This initiative will further strengthen the spirit of good governance, and the administration will continue to extensively use e-governance and digital technology in various processes in the future.
”The initiative is being seen as a model for transparent and technology-driven administration.
