Telangana Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that 175% more fuel than the average supply was provided. Responding to the rush at fuel stations, he assured on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) people that sufficient stocks are available. 

Since this is the paddy harvest season, tractors and other machines are used extensively for the process. The Minister said that special focus is given to ensure adequate stocks of diesel for the purpose is available.
