Patna: Patna will host Bihar’s first large-scale organised Artificial Intelligence (AI) summit, the Bihar AI Summit 2026, on May 23 and 24 at Urja Auditorium. The summit will explore the use of AI in improving public service delivery, boosting industrial and revenue growth, and equipping young people with skills for an emerging AI-driven economy. The event is being organised by QLASS EdTech in collaboration with the state’s information technology department and the Bihar Industries Association (BIA). It is expected to draw over 4,000 physical delegates, while reaching an estimated 100 million people through digital, print and broadcast platforms.Speaking at a press conference at Technology Bhawan on Thursday, Nikhil Kumar, founder of QLASS EdTech, said the summit is designed to be action-oriented rather than a series of academic discussions.

He said the platform will bring together policymakers and govt officials to share implementation frameworks, while experts present practical solutions tailored to Bihar’s socio-economic needs.Industry representatives said the summit will highlight the cross-sector use of AI and its role in long-term economic empowerment. Amarnath Jaiswal, secretary of the Bihar Industries Association, said it will showcase how AI can support skill development and create opportunities for young people across the state.

A speaker said Bihar has historically remained engaged with technology-driven change and said the summit would help unlock youth potential. He also said work on an industrial smart city in Gaya is progressing rapidly, which is expected to generate employment for thousands of young people.
