30 fall ill due to ‘water contamination’ in Guntakal

At least 30 residents of Guntakal municipality fell ill reportedly due to water contamination. According to officials, the residents of 11th ward Tilak Nagar complained of vomitting and were admitted to Guntakal Area Hospital, where they are being treated. The locals alleged that they have been experiencing stomach pain after consuming the water provided by the municipality. Guntakal Municipal authorities visited the locality and inspected the water provided to the locals.
