32 minors booked for flouting traffic rules, driving without necessary documents

The City police have registered cases against 32 minors on charges of violation of traffic rules and driving without necessary documents.

The offences came to light during vehicle inspections held on the directions of District Police Chief (Thiruvananthapuram city) K. Karthik at various places in the city police limits on Friday.

A total of 618 big and small vehicles were inspected during the drive.

Legal action will be taken against vehicle owners who allowed minors to drive the vehicles.

The vehicle inspections will continue in days to come, the city police said in a statement.
