4 injured in clash over land dispute in Nalanda

Biharsharif: Four people were injured in a clash over a land dispute near Mardan Bigha under the Parwalpur police station area of Nalanda district on Thursday.One of the injured, Chitranjan Prasad, sustained critical injuries and was referred to Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Medical Sciences (BMIMS), Pawapuri, after being given first aid at the Parwalpur primary health centre (PHC).Police said the clash erupted when two groups allegedly attacked each other with sticks and bricks over a dispute of 20 decimals of land. A video of the incident showing people engaged in the scuffle has also surfaced on social media.Parwalpur SHO Sanjeev Kumar confirmed that written complaints have been received from both sides and the matter is under investigation.
