The evacuation route is expected to pass through Lachen–Dongkya La–Lachung–Gangtok.
The district administration is working in close coordination with multiple agencies, including police, ITBP, Border Roads Organisation (BRO), and the Indian Army, to ensure a safe and timely evacuation.
