A.G. Srinivas, who is an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) of 1989 batch, has assumed charge as Additional General Manager (AGM), South Western Railway, a release said.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Srinivas served as Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) in Bhubaneswar.

Mr. Srinivas began his career as Assistant Engineer in South Central Railway and then served in various key assignments across South Central Railway, South Western Railway and Southern Railway.

Subsequently, he served as Chief Engineer at Headquarters, South Central Railway, Divisional Railway Manager, Salem Division, in Southern Railway and Chief Engineer (Special Duties) and Chief Planning and Design Engineer (CPDE) at South Central Railway.

Mr. Srinivas has successfully executed several major infrastructure projects, including commissioning of approximately 500 km of railway lines and redevelopment of multiple stations, the release said.
