A new bengali show to recreate the life of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu

A new mega serial, Nader Nimai, is all set to bring the inspiring life and spiritual journey of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to the small screen. Premiering on June 29, the show traces the transformation of the playful Nimai Pandit into one of India's most revered saints and religious reformers, whose message of love, devotion, equality and humanity continues to inspire generations.Set in 15th-century Nabadwip, the serial explores the social, cultural and historical backdrop of Bengal while highlighting Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's family life, spiritual awakening, struggles, sacrifices and unwavering pursuit of divine truth.The show features Ranit Basu, Arian Pratim Maity and Safalya Debnath portraying Nimai at different stages of his life. The ensemble cast also includes Bodhisattwa Majumdar, Adrian Sarkar, Sourit Banerjee, Soumi Banerjee, Arindam Chatterjee, Abhishek Mukherjee, Ankita Das, Kaustav Chowdhury and Sangeeta Biswas in pivotal roles.Directed by Sushanta Basu, Nader Nimai is based on research and a story by Geeta Biswas. The screenplay has been written by Writam Ghoshal and Sayan Chowdhury, while the dialogues have been penned by Sayan Chowdhury and Anjan Chakraborty.
