A.P. govt. constitutes SIT to probe 2018 Group-I recruitment irregularities

Following a directive from the High Court, the State government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to to probe alleged irregularities in the 2018 Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group-I recruitment (Notification No. 27).

Director General of Police (CID) Ravi Shankar Ayyannar will head the SIT, while Superintendent of Police, CID (EOW), K. Chakravarthi has been appointed as the member of the team. The SIT will submit its report to the High Court by March 16, 2026.
