‘AA23’: Makers share NEW PIC of Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj; shoot to begin in 2026

Allu Arjun and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his superhit ‘Coolie’, ‘Leo’ and others, have joined hands for an upcoming movie tentatively called ‘AA23’ or ‘LK7’. After the film’s announcement in January, the makers shared a picture of the director meeting the ‘Pushpa’ actor.

Recently, the makers shared a picture of Lokesh Kanagaraj taking a picture with Allu Arjun. The music for the film has been a huge hit. Even before the title and story are revealed, the music is already popular. This shows the significant buzz around this project.In their post, the makers also announced that shooting FOR the film will begin in 2026. They wrote, “Icon Star @alluarjun & @Dir_Lokesh - the men who set social media on fire with the announcement video.

The music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This reunites Anirudh and Lokesh after they worked on ‘Master’, ‘Vikram’, ‘Leo’, and ‘Coolie’. The makers have confirmed that the film will be released across India. This is similar to the ‘Pushpa’ movies, which were also pan-India hits.

What’s next for Lokesh and Allu Arjun

Lokesh Kanagaraj has many upcoming projects. He is acting as the lead for the first time in a film titled ‘DC’, directed by Arun Matheswaran.

The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy.He has also announced a superhero film with Aamir Khan and is producing an LCU film titled ‘Benz’ starring Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly. On the other hand, Allu Arjun, following the magnificent success of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, is working with ‘Jawan’ director Atlee. The movie is tentatively called ‘AA22xA6’ and is set to be a sci-fi film with Bollywood’s Deepika Padukone as the female lead. He is also reported to work with Trivikram Sukumaran.
