Aaron Rodgers is set to return for his 21st NFL season in 2025, this time with the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a long career with the Green Bay Packers and a short, injury-hit stint with the New York Jets, Rodgers enters what could be his final year with several major records within reach.

Aaron Rodgers could pass Brett Favre in touchdowns and join rare NFL club

Rodgers currently has 503 career touchdown passes, ranking fifth in NFL history. Just ahead of him is former teammate Brett Favre with 508. If Rodgers throws just six touchdowns, he will pass Favre for fourth place all-time. Based on his career average of around two touchdowns per game, this could happen by Week 3 against the New England Patriots.Rodgers also has a chance to join a rare group of quarterbacks who have beaten all 32 NFL teams.

He only needs a win over the Packers in Week 8 to become the fifth quarterback to accomplish that feat. Only Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Brett Favre have done it so far.

Rodgers still holds several league records. He has the best career passer rating (104.93), the highest touchdown-to-interception ratio (4.34), and the lowest interception percentage (1.4%) in NFL history. He also set the highest single-season passer rating of 122.5.

These numbers reflect Rodgers’ efficiency and consistency over two decades. He’s also a four-time NFL MVP, second only to Peyton Manning, who won five.

Patrick Mahomes could break Aaron Rodgers’ fastest-to-250 touchdowns record

One of Rodgers’ records may fall soon. He was the fastest player to reach 250 passing touchdowns, hitting the mark in 121 games. But Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes already has 245 touchdowns in just 112 games and could pass Rodgers’ mark by next season. Also Read: Jordan Love primed for breakout 2025 season after injury setback derailed Packers’ hopesEven so, Rodgers’ legacy is secure.
