Absence of senior leaders at Kadapa steel plant inauguration raises eyebrowsvdvd

In the much-awaited grounding of JSW Rayalaseema Steel Plant on Friday (July 4, 2026), TDP’s Kadapa district unit and the party’s former Polit Bureau member and former district unit President R. Srinivasa Reddy were conspicuous by their absence at the high-profile event.

Along with Mr. Reddy, his spouse and Kadapa MLA R. Madhavi Reddy also abstained from the event.

As Ms. Madhavi Reddy is also the Government whip, her absence has raised eyebrows among the public.

Mr. Srinivasa Reddy was one of the aspirants for the Rajya Sabha seats that were filled up recently.

However, the couple was reportedly out of station on a fixed personal assignment.
