Accident in Shivamogga, woman dies on spot

A woman, working at a private hospital in Shivamogga, died in an accident at Malavagoppa on the outskirts of Shivamogga city on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Kavitha Bai T., 26. The two-wheeler she and her brother had been riding was hit by another bike. She fell on the road, and a private bus ran over her, killing her on the spot.

Kavitha was to marry later this month. She was travelling with her brother to extend a marriage invitation to her friends when she met with the accident.

Shivamogga East Traffic Police have registered the case.
