AIADMK raises concerns over T.N. Minister Aadhav Arjuna holding two posts

AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP I.S. Inbadurai, on Sunday (May 31, 2026), raised concerns over Tamil Nadu Minister for Sports Development Aadhav Arjuna holding two posts — one as a regulator and another as an administrator — at the same time.

In a social media post, Mr. Inbadurai pointed out that Mr. Arjuna continued to hold the office of the president of the Basketball Federation of India. “This raises serious concerns about a potential conflict of interest and undermines public confidence in impartial sports governance,” Mr. Inbadurai said.

​”For governance to be fair, it is not enough that there is no bias; there must also be no appearance of bias,” he added.
