Middle Eastern airspace resuming in limited capacity

Flights to and from the Middle East are experiencing a gradual recovery as tensions between US, Israel and Iran continue.

Due to limited operations, reduced capacity and route suspensions, passengers have had to face flight cancellations and rebooking ever since the war began on February 28, 2026. Major carriers have resumed operations in order to ensure passenger travel and also continue the supply chain to the region in terms of essentials like fresh produce.

Airlines have been advising passengers to check their flight status frequently, even before leaving for the airport due to rapid developments in the region. Moreover, travellers should check official information channels like the airline's website for recent updates and travel information.
