October 2022 was one of the biggest months in Alex Bregman’s career. After the Houston Astros defeated the Philadelphia Phillies, Reagan joined Alex on the field with their infant son to celebrate. It was a proud family moment that mixed baseball success with personal joy. Their son, Knox Samuel, was born on Aug. 1, 2022. Since then, the couple has focused on raising their family in Houston. The city means a lot to both of them.
Alex built his career there, and Reagan spent much of her childhood in the area. The couple first met through mutual friends at a group dinner while Reagan was working for Google in Austin after graduating from Texas A and M University. She once said, "It was crazy because I didn't want to be [at dinner]."A few days later, they went on their first date. Long distance became part of their early relationship during baseball season.
"When we both realized we were willing to sacrifice things to make things work, we realized it was it," Reagan shared. Alex also said, "She was working her tail off and coming to see me."
Alex Bregman continues to deliver steady numbers on the field
While Reagan manages home life, Alex Bregman continues to produce on the field. Over the years, he has remained a dependable presence at third base. In 2025, he recorded 118 hits, 62 RBIs and a .273 batting average. In 2024, he posted 151 hits and 75 RBIs.
His 2023 season included 163 hits and 98 RBIs. Earlier in his career, he had strong seasons as well. In 2019, he tallied 164 hits and 112 RBIs with a .296 average. In 2018, he finished with 170 hits and 103 RBIs.
Those numbers helped establish him as one of the consistent infielders in the league. While Alex Bregman prepares for games and focuses on his performance, Reagan gives a look at what life is like away from the field. Her post may have been simple, but it said a lot. There is more to baseball than stats and standings. There is a family raising young kids and managing busy days. For Alex, success is not just about what happens during nine innings.
It also includes the life waiting for him at home.
