Amul has announced a price hike of Rs 2 per litre across several of its milk variants, with the revised rates set to come into effect from May 14.
The increase will apply to multiple popular milk products sold across different parts of India and is expected to add to household expenses amid already rising food and living costs.
According to information shared by the company, the decision was taken due to increasing input costs, particularly higher cattle feed expenses and packaging costs.
