Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy pointed out that the academic curriculum needs to focus on imparting entrepreneurial skills in students and should not confine to just classroom teaching.
The Minister was speaking at the second graduation day celebrations of PBR Vidyodaya Institute of Technology and Science (VITS) at Kavali on Saturday. He also urged the students to become entrepreneurs and job providers rather than job seekers.
“The ultimate goal of education is not just securing employment, but to contribute towards the society with a sense of responsibility,” he added.
Wishing the students a bright future, the Minister called the occasion as not just the end of their academic career, but a milestone moment that would carve the future course of their accomplishments.
He later presented degree certificates to the graduating students, along with MLC Beeda Ravichandra and Kavali MLA D. Venkata Krishna Reddy.
