The West Bengal government has started releasing the second instalment of financial assistance under the Annapurna Yojana. Eligible women beneficiaries will receive Rs 3,000 directly in their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari formally launched the latest phase of the scheme at Kolkata's Netaji Indoor Stadium.
