Antariksh’s latest single featuring acclaimed English guitarist Jack Gardiner, marking the act's 3rd major international collaboration with guitar virtuosos and something of a hat-trick.
Antariksh is continuing its steady run of releases following a successful US tour earlier this year. The Delhi-based rock act is currently working through Rehguzar, a concept album that is being released one track at a time through 2026.
The project centres on themes of perseverance and the quiet resilience often required of artists and creators. The band began the year with Naaqis in February, featuring Polish progressive rock guitarist Jakub Zytecki alongside sarangi player Momin Khan. Their latest single brings English guitarist Jack Gardiner into the fold, marking another international collaboration for the group. Antariksh had previously worked with former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman on Quest, released in 2021. Frontman and composer Varun Rajput said collaborating with musicians from different parts of the world has been significant for the band’s journey. Antariksh had also shared the stage with Gardiner earlier this year when they opened for him during his first India tour in March. Rajput explained that he wanted a guitarist whose playing style could add a different dimension to the track while still fitting naturally within its structure.
Musically, the song moves between restrained passages and heavier sections, with Gardiner’s solo forming a key part of the arrangement. Lyrically, the track reflects on discipline, humility and the effort involved in regaining direction after difficult periods. These ideas also carry through into the accompanying music video, which follows a character attempting to move beyond anger and self-doubt.
