‘Anupamaa’ written update April 8: Prema and Rahi ask Anupama to give them a 5 star rating

The latest episode begins with Prem, Rahi, and Prerna getting excited seeing Anupama at their restaurant. They all hug her, take her blessings and then wonder about the coincidence that she is the one who was allotted to check and approve their restaurant.

Anupama tells Rahi, Prem, and Prerna the truth

All four of them sit down, and Rahi, Prem, and Prerna ask Anupama about how she has been all these months away in Goa. They all talk about how excited they are for the opening of the restaurant and then ask Anupama about how everything is as per the report.Anupama looks tense and is unable to tell them that there are a lot of issues. As they keep on talking and asking her, Anupama reveals that there are some issues. She points out that one of the main things is the fact that none of the items in the kitchen have an expiry date or a batch number. Prem points out that all of the items are from home and are freshly ground masalas. Anupama tells them that they should still have the date to ensure that everything goes according to regulations. Rahi adds that thankfully, this is fixable, and asks her mother whether she has approved their application or not. Anupama further adds that the water pipeline is not fixed properly and that the gas pipeline is running right above the gas stove, which is a major safety hazard.

Prem is shocked to hear all of this and asks Prerna why she did not check all of this. She says that she trusted the builder to follow their instructions; however, she did not think that something like this would happen. Prem starts to request Anupama to approve their request, and tells her that he will fix all of this as soon as he can. Anupama, however, stays reluctant and says that she cannot lie on her application.

Vasundhara blames Anupama for everything

Later on, Prem, Prerna, and Rahi return home, and Prem ends up fainting.

Vasudhara gets shocked and asks Rahi about what happened. As they get Prem to his room, Rahi tells everyone what happened at the restaurant, leaving everyone shocked. Vasundhara starts blaming Rahi, saying that she knew already that Anupama would be the one evaluating everything, though Rahi defends herself and says that even Anupama did not know that it was Prem’s restaurant until she saw all three of them there.

Gautam also chimes in and says that Rahi is lying. He then calls someone on his phone and tells them that Prem’s restaurant is going to close even before its opening, and that they need to make this news go viral as soon as possible. Anupama on the other hand goes back to the Shah house and tells Hasmukh everything, who is left shocked at the news. The review for the next episode plays and shows the Shah family discussing the issue about Prem’s restaurant. While Paritosh tells her that he is saluting her for the first time, Pakhi simply tells her to end the issue by giving them a 5-star rating. Just then, Vasundhara, Rahi, and Prem arrive at the Shah house. Vasundhara asks Anupama about why she is trying to ruin everything, and then tells her to save Prem’s restaurant, or ruin her own daughter’s life.
